
It's getting fairly difficult these days to start a blog with any "normal" address since all the plain jane names were taken years ago. After trying a dozen different (boring) permutations of the Curtis Family blog I decided to try something off the wall. It worked on the first try. It's true, I love both yoga and donuts. Some might see this as an inherent contradiction, especially the carbon credit buying and organic cardboard eating faction of the population in Portland, where I will soon be living, but let me tell you, they're really missing out. I can stretch and strengthen and be mindful of my body by practicing yoga, and then go celebrate having tastebuds an hour later when I eat a big fat donut. Or a piece of cake. Or pretty much any pastry. You get my point. All things in moderation, and if you're going to treat yourself (either to an invigorating workout or a slightly sinful snack) make sure you thoroughly enjoy it.
